THE HOTEL: In the heart of Sorrento the Bellevue Syrene is perched on the rocks above the sea with stunning views across the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. According to the story the spot was once the home of the sirens. The hotel's elegant 19th-century country house style gives it a feeling of space and well-being. The hotel has, however, a quintessential modern touch that makes it light and airy. A variety of gardens and terraces offer beautiful romantic views and a collection of lounges and restaurants give guests plenty of space to relax. The atmospheric winter garden is the perfect spot to have a drink and relax to the sound of piano music. There are a panoramic pool and a private beach. The Bellevue Syrene hotel is built on the remains of a Roman villa. Count Mastrobuono built the original villa in 1750 and the house became a hotel in 1820. An array of fascinating people have stayed here among kings, emperors, politicians, writers, and poets. A series of frescoes pays homage to the hotel's most famous guests.
The Bellvue offers impeccable service and attention to the guest's every wish
