Masseria Santa Teresa is a brand new boutique hotel in Sannicola, just 8 km from the lively Gallipoli, on the Ionian coast of Puglia. The resort is hosted in a 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by a large park of olive groves and pine forests. There are also a beautiful pool and a delicious restaurant.

THE HOTEL: Masseria Santa Teresa is a new hotel in a former farmhouse surrounded by a park of 9 hectares of olive groves and pinewood. The ancient building consists of a fortified tower of 17th century which was renovated keeping the ancient charm with the original stone walls and the beautiful barrel ceilings. The Relais has a common area with free access to Wifi, a TV, and a fireplace. In a colorful garden, there is a beautiful pool. This is the perfect hideaway for family holidays.
THE OWNER: Young Riccardo and Barbara decided to restore the masseria to open their own hotel. Coming both from families deeply involved in tourism, this was quite a natural choice for them!
THE ROOMS: The 16 unique rooms have been renovated into chic accommodation, keeping their original features and the beautiful 'Salentina' orange/yellow stone. Each one has air-conditioning, Tv, safe-box, and Frigobar. All have independent access and a private patio. There are comfortable double and superior rooms which are furnished with modern pieces, have barrel ceilings, and can sleep up to 4 people. In the central building, there are a few unique suites with an original fire-place. They can host up to 4 additional beds.
THE FOOD: Start the day with a delicious buffet breakfast made with local products at "km 0", fresh fruit and homemade cakes. Choose the half or full board package and savor the delicious traditional food prepared by the multi-starred chef Marcello Greco. The menu for lunch and dinner is à la carte. Vegan and gluten-free menus are available on request.
THE ICING ON THE CAKE: There is a bar/lounge to sip a glass of the local wine before dinner!
LOCATION: The hotel is located in Sannicola, just 10 minutes from the lively little town of Gallipoli, the baroque Nardo' and the beaches 'Padula Bianca' and 'Rivabella'. Lecce is at 30 minutes while Brindisi airport is one hour's drive. The location is ideal to explore the South of Puglia.
WHAT TO SEE AND DO: Guests are encouraged to explore the Salento area and Gallipoli is an important historic place, not to miss! They can relax with a book in the shade of the trees or have a dip in the pool or in the Ionian sea. The most active will like to walk along the jogging trails of the estate.
GOOD TO KNOW: It is better to have a car to explore the area properly and the parking is free. However, if you just want to relax at the beach, there is a shuttle service (with a supplement). The hotel requires a minimum stay of 2 nights during the year and of 7 nights in the period 6th-20th August.
