THE HOTEL: The Park Hotel Argento is a boutique hotel in Levanto. Nestled in the hills ten minutes walk from the center, the hotel is away from the bustle of this family orientated seaside resort. Levanto has a sandy beach and is popular with Italians.

LOCATION: Levanto is 90km east of Genoa and it's the ideal base to catch the train to Le Cinque Terre.
WHAT TO SEE AND DO: Levanto is a perfect base from which to discover the UNESCO World Heritage Cinque Terre villages but avoid the crowds at the same time. It takes only five minutes to get to Monterosso al Mare by train! Cycle along the old train track to pretty Bonassola and swim off the rocks at Framura. There is excellent hiking and the hotel provides packed lunches. In winter there are fabulous views and sometimes you can see as far as Corsica.
