The Testaccio Boutique Apartment is a stunning 2-bedroom flat located on the third floor (with lift access) of a charming 1920s building. Just moments away from the vibrant Testaccio Market and conveniently close to the city center, the iconic Colosseum is only two metro stops away.

THE APARTMENT is bursting with character and has recently undergone a meticulous renovation. Situated on the third floor of a traditional building with a lift, it features a cozy living room with a sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. With two air-conditioned bedrooms and two en-suite shower bathrooms, it’s the perfect retreat for up to four guests.

THE OWNER: The apartment is managed by the welcoming duo of Barbara and Tommaso, a friendly mother-son team dedicated to going the extra mile for their guests. They are always available to assist with transfers, arrange special tours, and recommend delightful trips both around and outside of Rome.

THE ROOMS: The apartment boasts two impeccably designed rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Elegantly decorated, these spaces feature charming brick ceilings, air conditioning, and double-glazed windows for added comfort and tranquility.

THE FOOD: The apartment is next door to the lively fresh market open Mon-Sat from 7 am until 2 pm. The area is full of supermarkets, bars, and restaurants and it's historically among the most popular neighborhoods where locals head to enjoy the best traditional food.

THE ICING ON THE CAKE: If you have time to enjoy a small complimentary tour of the area,  please ask for it. Barbara and Tommaso are happy to share their best places with their guests.

LOCATION: Despite its vibrant location, the apartment offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat. Nestled in an area favored by young artists and actors, it’s considered one of the coolest and trendiest neighborhoods in Rome, allowing you to enjoy the lively atmosphere while retreating to a serene space.
The area is very well connected to the different parts of the city: the closest bus stop 'Branca' is 200m and the closest metro stop 'Piramide' is 1km (15 min walk) from the flat. Termini railway station is 5km away (15 mins by taxi – 30 mins by walk+metro).  Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport is 26km (30 mins by taxi or 45 mins by walk+train from Ostiense railway station), and Ciampino Airport at 15km (30 mins by taxi).
This is a great place to base yourself for either a holiday or a business trip. There is pay-and-display parking on the street and a private garage at 200m.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO: Located in the vibrant heart of Rome's popular district, this apartment puts you just a few bus or metro stops away from all the city's major attractions. Whether you choose to walk or take public transport, you'll find iconic sites like Trastevere, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon within easy reach.

GOOD TO KNOW:
1. The area has traffic restrictions (ZTL) from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
2. The apartment features digital accessibility, providing flexibility for late arrivals when the hosts are unable to welcome you in person. This ensures a seamless check-in experience, allowing you to settle in at your convenience.
3. Check-in is after 3 pm, check-out is before 10 am. Early check-in and late check-out are available on request, if possible.
