Villa Selinunte combines the comfort of a luxury villa with the traditional atmosphere of a Sicilian farmhouse, carefully designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape. Its unique location, among the sea and the countryside, makes it the perfect spot for complete relaxation in one of the most exclusive locations of Sicily.
THE VILLA Crossing the main gate, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the lush vegetation of a classic manicured Mediterranean garden. The large outdoor area includes the swimming pool, an elegant patio, and a large BBQ area. Inside you’ll find a large living room with a fireplace, armchairs, and couches that overlook the olive groves. The wide open-space includes also the built-in traditional kitchen and the dining area with large French windows overlooking the garden.
Except for one A/C double bedroom with a shower bathroom that is on the ground floor, all the other 3 A/C bedrooms (the master and 2 twins) are on the first floor, where there are also a bathroom (with bathtub) and a terrace. The villa is available for rent for a minimum of 4 nights (7 nights from June to August) and can sleep up to 8 people.
LOCATION: The Villa is located on the sea near Selinunte, on the Western coast of Sicily, between Agrigento and Marsala. The area features a mix of natural beauties, historic places, and great beaches (at only 6km). The small Trapani airport is at 91km while Palermo Airport is at 95km.
WHAT TO SEE AND DO: The lively neighborhood offers beach lidos, restaurants, and bars. The most famous beaches like Marinella and Triscino are just a short drive away. The area is dotted with many little towns/villages to visit like Mazara del Vallo (34km), Sciacca (35km), Marsala (41km), Erice (90km), Palermo (110km). Visit the archaeological sites at Selinunte, Agrigento 'La Valle dei Templi' (93km), and Segesta (64km). Explore San Vito lo Capo and the 'Riserva dello Zingaro' natural park at 100km.
GOOD TO KNOW: You must rent a car to explore the area and the villa has private parking.
