Dear Traveller, Welcome to Italy! My name is Barbara and I am Italian. I love ‘my’ Italy and want to share with you the special, secret side of it that only an insider could know.
I have toured the country to find the perfect places for you to stay. I only recommend authentic accommodation and restaurants that offers real Italian hospitality and a high level of service, whether you are traveling on business or coming on holiday.
Every single place listed in this collection is somewhere that you can feel at home – your home from home in Italy. That’s why the hotels, B&Bs,apartments and restaurants I have chosen are cosy hideaways managed by the owners themselves. The hotels an average of just 20 rooms, some are in truly remarkable locations, others are in fantastic, historic buildings or have beautiful gardens and many serve mouth-watering local dishes. On one thing there is no compromise: I insist on the highest level of hospitality and on the cleanliness. In addition, I strongly believe that experiences – especially with a local host – can be the highlight of your trip. Please enjoy as many cooking classes, bike-vespa-boat-food tours as you can.
