Il Vigneto is one of the most popular fish restaurants in the area around Agrigento and Menfi, on the West side of Sicily. The rich menu offers traditional and Mediterranean recipes. There are a lush garden and a terrace for romantic summer dinners under the stars.

THE RESTAURANT: Il Vigneto is a delicious restaurant since 1983. It is also recommended by Michelin, Gambero Rosso, and Touring Club. The menu offers typical Sicilian dishes and fresh fish caught every morning. If you are planning an event, the place is ideal for parties and weddings. In summer it is possible to enjoy a romantic dinner under the veranda near the lush garden.

FOOD & WINE: The à la carte menu consists of a careful selection of traditional dishes rooted in the Sicilian cuisine prepared by Alessandro,  chef, and co-owner of the place. Try the local pasta with egg-fish, his specialty, and the move to a delicious grilled seabass. Leave room for the typical cannolo alla siciliana dessert, a real treat! The wine list includes a wide range of Sicilian wines from the local cellars like Settesoli, Planeta, and Agareno.

THE FINISHING TOUCH:  Do not miss the cassatelle, small sweet pancakes filled with ricotta cheese and the semifreddo parfait di mandorle, covered with a layer of hot chocolate.

OPEN: In summer the restaurant is open every day for lunch (1-2.30pm) and dinner (8-9.30pm). In winter it is open every day except Monday for lunch and also on Friday and Saturday for dinner.
