Ristorante M'ama! is located in Praiano, a pretty village halfway between Amalfi and Positano. Careful research into fresh seasonal local ingredients with the chef's twist offers a superb gastronomic journey through the best Mediterranean cuisine. The unique backdrop of the panoramic terrace, suspended between the sky and the sea, guarantees a memorable romantic dinner under the stars.

THE RESTAURANT: The family restaurant M'ama is hosted inside the Hotel Margherita and offers traditional local dishes. The Chef shops daily in the market and likes to offer a menu based on what is in season.

FOOD & WINE: The menu consists of typical Mediterranean dishes with a lot of fresh fish and seafood. Try the 'Spaghetti con Colatura di Alici' (noodles dressed in an anchovy sauce) an irresistible dish to step back in time. In fact, the 'Colatura' was already popular at the time of the Roman Empire and was rediscovered by the monks of the Amalfi Coast who preserved the anchovies with salt in wooden barrels. The local fishermen then passed the tradition from father to son and now the little village of Cetara is the main center of production of this delicious dressing.
The M'ama restaurant offers also a wide choice of wood-oven Neapolitan 'gourmet pizzas'. Try the one with the octopus and the endives -previously sauteed in the pan with capers, olives, and anchovy sauce- or the one with courgette flowers and prawns.
