La Vie is the in house restaurant of the Hotel La Villa, in Piedmont. The delicious traditional food signed by the awarded chef Ian Simpson and an extensive offer of top-quality wine make La Vie a 'must-try' restaurant in Piedmont.

THE RESTAURANT: The restaurant La Vie is hosted inside the Hotel La Villa in South Piedmont. The former farmhouse dates back to 1600 and it is run by Chris and Nicole, an Irish-British couple who moved to Piedmont almost 20 years ago. The king of the kitchen is the awarded Chef Ian Simpson,  passionate to deliver clean flavors using the best seasonal product.

FOOD & WINE: The fixed menu consists of typical Piedmontese dishes with a twist and changes every day accordingly to what is in season. Dishes based on white truffle and mushrooms are a must-try in Autumn. The house hosts also a well-equipped cellar with more than 6000 labels. Chris and Nicole can help in suggesting the right local wine to accompany every dish.  BBQs are an option in summer. A selection of Italian tapas is offered on Wednesday evening instead of the traditional menu.

THE FINISHING TOUCH: A romantic candlelight dinner al fresco in the courtyard in summer.
