Charming Masseria Montenapoleone is a boutique hotel in Puglia. Hosted in a picturesque farmhouse surrounded by a beautiful garden full of oleander, bougainvillea and olive trees,  is located just five minutes from the beach and has a beautiful pool.

THE HOTEL: Masseria Montenapoleone is a beautiful boutique hotel close to the beach near Ostuni in Puglia. This 17th century Masseria is a typical traditional farm and is the perfect place to get a feel for the real Puglia. Stroll in the verdant garden and take a dip in the gorgeous swimming pool.

THE OWNER: Giuliano was living outside of Italy when he came home on for a break and found that he could simply not leave his beloved region again. It was time to start a new life and he decided to open a hotel. A wonderful host, Giuliano's devotion to his guests and his abounding energy create a special magical air at Masseria Montenapoleone.

THE ROOMS: The are 15 rooms, decorated in an unusually clever style, with a hint of surrealism coffee pots have become lampstands. Atmospheric some of the rooms are in the original cave dwellings while others have the classic stone floors and beamed ceilings. Superior and Junior suites are ideal to accommodate families while rustic rooms are for couples.

THE FOOD: Breakfast on a spread of delicious cakes, homegrown fruit, and tasty jams. Guests are free to pick what takes their fancy that is growing on the farm and can also buy olive oil, jams, and the Masseria's own wine. There is a kitchen, which is free for guests to use as well as a BBQ. Evening meals are possible by arrangement and are delicious.

THE ICING ON THE CAKE: Take a cookery class and really put the icing on the cake! Courses are offered to groups of more than 5 people.

LOCATION: The hotel is between Fasano and Ostuni, just five minutes from the beach. Bari airport is just over an hour and Brindisi airport is 45 mins.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO: The hotel is with easy reach of some of the areas best-known attractions, but you will need your own transport to discover the best Puglia has to offer. For children, a must is one of Italy's best safari parks. Alberobello, Locorotondo, Castellana Caves, and Lecce are less than one hour by car.
