The former peasants' shelter has turned into a chic 3-bedroom villa in Valle d'Itria, Puglia. A perfect location halfway between Alberobello, Castellana Grotte. The white stone dominates indoor and outdoor.  The pool is on your doorstep and you’ll spend your days basking in the Apulian sunshine roaming the villa’s garden and barbecuing freshly caught fish. When the sunlight fades, head to the veranda and snuggle up by the couch with a nice glass of Apulian Primitivo wine.

THE VILLA: the estate includes a main stone house connected to a traditional 'trullo',  surrounded by a manicured garden with a pool. There is a living room with sofas,  Tv, a kitchenette in every building,  3 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms with shower. The villa features exposed brick walls.

THE ROOMS:  The villa can accommodate a max of 6 people in 2 double bedrooms + 1 with bunk-beds.  2 extra guests can stay on the sofa-bed.

THE FOOD: There are two kitchenette,  and an outdoor patio to dine 'al fresco'.

LOCATION: The Villa is 4km from Castellana and 14km from Alberobello, a pretty village with food shops, restaurants, and bars. The best airport is Bari (50km).

WHAT TO SEE AND DO: The villa is a perfect base to explore the Valle d'Itria and to relax. Reach Monopoli and take a boat tour to the beautiful Polignano a mare. Visit breathtaking Matera (65km), baroque Lecce (120km), and white Ostuni (50km): top destinations within a 1.30-hour drive.  Wine lovers will head to Locorotondo (25km) to tour vineyards and enjoy wine-tasting. Zoo Safari for children is in Fasano, at 30 minutes, as well as the Golf Club in Savelletri. Horse-riding, kite-surf, sup, hiking, and biking will please active travelers.

GOOD TO KNOW: The pool is open from May until October and it's not heated.
