La Bandita is a unique amazing villa with 8 rooms and a garden with an infinity pool in Tuscany. Hidden away in the hills at the end of a dirt track road, just 20 minutes' drive from Pienza, this beautiful stone farmhouse overlooks the D'Orcia Valley. The Villa can be rented for a minimum stay of 3 days.
THE VILLA: La Bandita, which was redesigned by Ab Rogers, the son of Richard Rogers, sits amidst sheep farms and combines rural life and a relaxed designer style. Simple good taste is the spirit of La Bandita. The guests who stay here are hip and savvy. You can relax on comfy chairs in the library in front of an open fire. The swimming pool has a breath-taking view across the valley. Guests can enjoy the jacuzzi and a Turkish bath. Massages are available on request.
THE OWNER: John Voightman, was the music manager who looked after The Strokes and Christina Aguilera, but he grew tired of New York and settled for the good life in Tuscany with his family. John now knows the region like the back of his hand and can help you get the best from your trip to beautiful Tuscany.
THE ROOMS: The 8 contemporary rooms, one of which is a suite with a kitchenette, all have sunken baths, brightly colored showers, and organic toiletries. Stretch out in the romantic four-poster beds between Busatti sheets. All rooms have their own LCD flat-screen TV, Wi-fi, and iPod dock. The Villa can accommodate a max of 16 people + 3 extra beds.
THE FOOD: Private meals can be booked and a chef is available to prepare a light lunch (a salad and a first dish) and a delicious 4 dishes dinner. There is a fully stocked honesty bar and soft drinks are free.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO: La Bandita is a perfect base to relax by the pool and with a view of the Tuscan hills. If you want to explore you will need a car. You are a short distance from the villages of the Val D' Orcia, where you can taste the local pecorino cheese. Go wine tasting in Montalcino and Montepulciano where they produce Brunello di Montalcino, and both the Rosso and the Nobile di Montepulciano. In Bagno Vignoni where you can relax at the spa. Siena has a beautiful historical center and is home to the famous Piazza del Campo, the Torre del Mangia, and its beautiful Duomo.
